Program Details:
Authors and book clubs are constantly seeking ways to connect. The bookclubcookbook.com’s Invite an Author program enables authors to speak with book clubs by phone, and publicizes their books to thousands of book club members across the country.

Here’s how it works. Once you’re accepted into the Invite an Author program, we’ll include your name and a brief description of your book(s) in our online directory of authors available to speak with book clubs. We’ll also announce your participation in the program in monthly emails sent to our subscriber base of more than 4,000 dedicated members of book clubs and reading groups, and we’ll include your name in selected e-newsletters sent regularly to our subscribers throughout the year.

Fees
The annual fee for inclusion in the Invite an Author program is
$75.00, payable through our secure online processing system or by check.

Authors who renew their membership after one year, and who refer at least one other author to the program, will receive a 20% discount on their membership renewal.

Publishers: please ask us about discounts for multiple authors.

Invite an Author is a free service for book club members. Authors participating in the Invite an Author program agree not to charge book club members a fee for speaking with them.

How to Enroll

1. Complete the online application form with titles and publishers for up to three books you’d like to feature. Please note that books are selected based on their compatibility with the interests of our book club audience. Self-published authors or authors published through POD presses are not accepted.


2. Once we’ve approved your application, we’ll send billing options. Upon receipt of payment we’ll provide an electronic form for your directory listing.


3. Complete the online directory form. If we receive your information by the 21st of the month it will be posted by the first week of the following month.
