THE FROZEN RIVER: Ariel Lawhon’s Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail

Apple Cider Bourbon Cocktail

“Taverns played a significant role in early American life. Taverns, were hubs for socializing and business, including legal proceedings, as seen in the novel. Because drinking water was often unsafe, alcohol such as whiskey, rum, and cider was commonly consumed. To complement a book club discussion, I suggest this Apple Cider Bourbon cocktail as a nod to these spirits.”
